She started off as a scribbled stick figure.

I fashioned her frizzy hair and passionate advocacy for creativity after the first woman scientist I met, Aditi Chandra. Her large glasses rested on her nose, just like my math teacher who taught me to question everything I encountered. She zoomed around on rollerblades, an ode to my brother and I’s cardboard inventions which would defy gravity. Every time I found myself discouraged from engineering, I added more zeal.

Now alive, Kiara inspires other young girls to build their own machines.

We are a small business dedicated to providing an engaging and innovative STEM education, whilst simultaneously increasing women role models in STEM for students. Our goal is simple: to transform science education.

Meet our Founder, Isha Jain

Hello! I am currently a student in Grade 12 at The British School, in New Delhi. I am a strong advocate for increasing inclusivity within STEM, and modeled Kiara, the main character in this kit, off of different inspiring women I have interacted with. This toy is something I wish I had when I was growing up myself, and I hope to be able to inspire more children to pursue Science through it. I hope to pursue Bioengineering in the future and create many more kits!

“ This is a great way to encourage girls to learn, participate and aspire professions in STEM fields. Young minds like Isha and this initiative can be catalysts for bridging the critical gender disparity in STEM fields"
